Be the Next Busk Idol

Busk Idol, a competition launched by Stockton-on-Tees borough council, is now registering applicants. Ten winners will receive the first busking permits for the town. Other prizes include recording studio sessions and gift vouchers. To enter, visit the Busk Idol website and fill in the online registration form.

Win a Gig at Glastonbury

Born Hectic Events are holding a busking competition in the South West of England. First prize is a guaranteed performance at Glastonbury 2009! The competition is open to both musicians and non-musicians but not professional street entertainers. Other gigs and prizes are available for finalists.
