Cambridge Street Performers' Festival

Cambridge City Council are considering holding a Buskers' and Street Performers' Festival from 29 to 31 July. There'll be a varied programme of entertainment throughout the City Centre, with buskers from all over the region taking part.

As well as being a celebration of street entertainment in the City, they hope it will also raise awareness of their new code of practice for buskers.

They're looking for bands, acoustic musicians, choirs, dance groups, mine artists, street theatre, jugglers, human statues, comedy acts, magicians, acrobats and more to perform. To take part, complete an application form (these can be downloaded from the council website) and send it to heather.bevanhunt@cambridge.gov.uk.
