Hi Amy! good article, but it's difficult to generalise about the 'generous' age groups, it depends on the instruments and the music style i guess. And i have to disagree about the dog! A friend of mine plays one-man band - his dog sings, dances and plays tricks to the music, earns half his money for him!

Good point about the dog, I once saw a busker in the South of France who used his dog in a similar way - as part of the act - which worked really well. I'd still say leave your dog at home if he's not part of the performance - what do you think?
